Encase komt met een portable versie, hier willen ze een laptop van de 4 gigabyte USB stick met encase booten. Encase portable word verwacht in de 3e kwartaal van 2009.

Dan vraag ik me af hoe het zit met data exporteren etc.. zou daar nog wel genoeg ruimte voor zijn dan .. maar goed ben benieuwd wat ze ervan maken. Encase FIM is overigens ook een mooi programma.

zou dit goed draaien, want volgensmij is encase toch een best zwaar programma voor een laptop.

Maar bedoel je dan dat die een soort boot systeem wordt waarin encase staat geinstalleerd?

De bedoeling is dat je alles van te voren instelt op de USB stick. En dat de encase usb stick deze data dan uit de laptop trekt.

EnCase Portable is expected to ship on a 4GB USB drive, but can also be used on larger USB devices if required; with the use of a USB hub, data can be stored on a USB drive or on other media, such as external hard drives. The product is expected to be available in the third quarter 2009.
